Diane M. Yawn

Diane M. Yawn, Esq., enjoyed a long career in estate and trust administration as an attorney as well as in the banking industry. Prior to her retirement from legal practice in 2020, Diane was a member of our firm’s estate administration team and managed our firm’s fiduciary services practice. Diane obtained her B.S. in Elementary Education from Florida State University and her J.D. from George Mason University School of Law. She graduated cum laude from both universities and was a member of George Mason Law Review. Prior to obtaining her law degree, Diane served as Group Vice President and Head of the Personal Trust Division for a regional bank and as the Assistant to the Commissioner in the office of the Alexandria Commissioner of Accounts. During her legal career, Diane was a member of the Bars of Virginia and the District of Columbia, as well as a member of the Wills, Trusts and Estates section of the Fairfax County Bar Association and the Northern Virginia Estate Planning Council.
